Portobello Steaks (Vegan)

This is another really easy recipe. I think mushrooms are so yummy and they have an almost meaty taste and texture. Portabellas make perfect steaks.




Ingredients:
Portabellas (usually 1 per person unless your starving or want leftovers)
Worcestershire sauce *I’m going to stop specifying the anchovies free kind now, you get it.
Minced garlic
Thyme
Nutritional yeast (optional but just go get some already)
Salt to taste

Clean off your mushrooms usually wiping any dirt with a wet paper towel or cloth is best. Then de-stem the mushrooms and lay out on a platter if you’re grilling them or baking sheet if you’re broiling. Sprinkle them with the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce (about a tbsp each cap), thyme and nutritional yeast.

They take about 10-15 minutes under the broiler or may take less or more time depending on how hot you have your BBQ.
